Hey, folks! Can you believe it's already the end of the year? Time has flown by so quickly. Well, let's take a moment to reflect on the year and make plans for an even more successful one ahead!

2023

As I reflect on the past year today, I'm truly amazed at what we've accomplished! The amount of work, the new features and bug fixes, the countless iterations of interface layouts, and the written and rewritten news articles, user replies, and more – all of these are the results of the hard work put in by our dedicated team in the Story Architect project. I want to express my utmost respect and send warm regards to each one of you!

Cat Alexander & our dearest team – big virtual hugs to all of you! ️💪

Of course, our project wouldn't be possible without our talented writers. On behalf of our entire team, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks! I know I say this every time, but consider it our mantra: thank you so much for your words of encouragement, your ideas and suggestions, your comments and constructive criticism, and your bug reports! Your involvement makes a significant difference from the other side of the screen. You are our true partners and motivators!

Thank you all so much, dear friends! ❤

Regarding the project itself, 2023 saw 18 releases, a fivefold increase in regular users, and our first collaborations with production companies and platforms.

In this year:
- We welcomed artificial intelligence into our fold (and even launched the Starc AI project to explore ethical AI use in text analysis).
- We invited novelists to join our community.
- We introduced tools to automate the process of preparing for movie production.
- We developed collaborative features for author groups.
- We actively improved the stability of our product.

If we compare these achievements to last year's plans, we didn't get everything done. However, that's okay because project priorities, like any living entity, adapt to changing circumstances and evolve with time. Specifically, we haven't yet created the mobile version or the author platform (ecosystem), which were among our major goals.

Our priorities regarding the mobile version remain unchanged, and in 2023, we welcomed a mobile developer to our team. The task is enormous, so we haven't released the first beta version yet, but rest assured, we're making great progress every day, getting closer to that much-anticipated release!

As for the author platform, we've put it on hold due to the substantial resources it requires. Perhaps one day, we'll revisit this idea.

2024

When it comes to smaller goals, our focus for the upcoming year is to implement all planned features of the program, including the event timeline, beat board, meta-script for showrunners, director's script, and storyboards.

Our top priority is to enhance the functionality of our desktop application, making it stable, fast, and user-friendly. We've identified areas where the user experience can be improved, and we're committed to addressing them.

The mobile version is our second goal, and as planned, it will be a full-fledged, self-sufficient app. It's no longer just a desire or goal; it's a matter of honor and time – to see our vision through to completion and develop the tool into the best mobile app for authors.

Our third goal is to build a comprehensive product knowledge base. In the new year, we'll continue working hard on guides and informative articles, adding video tutorials and interactive help within the application itself. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to resolve any issues you encounter with our application.

To wrap it up, I want to express my gratitude once again for your active participation and warm support!

Congratulations on the achievements of 2023, and here's to a successful 2024 ahead!

Always yours
and always with a smile,
Dimka Novikov
