STARC AI Assistant provides a number of tools to simplify the author's work and help with ideas

STARC AI is available in any language.
You can activate the AI Assistant using "credits", where 1 credit equals 1000 words, or 10 images processed by AI.
Price for credits:
- 50 credits for $10
- 200 credits for $30
Credits are also available for subscription plans:
- 5 credits per 1 month in PRO subscription (60 per annual subscription, 120 per lifetime)
- 10 credits per 1 month in TEAM subscription (120 per annual subscription)
Students and professors at universitites are entitled to a 50% discount off the base price of any subscription plan.
In order to get a student license you need to prove your status. To do so, please:
- send us an email to edu@starc.app from the email address associated with your institution's domain;
- or send us a picture of your student/academic ID card.

How to buy a subscription?
You need to enter your personal account in the application and select the type of subscription, PRO or CLOUD, as well as the activation period. Then you will be automatically redirected to the payment page in your browser. For new accounts, there is an option to activate the trial period of any version once for free. More info.
What features does the PRO subscription offer?
PRO is a paid version in which, in addition to all the features of the FREE version, advanced tools for working with the world of the story, characters, locations, as well as the structure and statistics of scenarios and novels are available. In addition, when you purchase the PRO version, you get 5 credits for a 1-month subscription to the PRO version to use the STARC AI Assistant (60 for an annual subscription, 120 for a lifetime subscription).
What features does the CLOUD subscription offer?
CLOUD is a paid version that complements the PRO version with real-time collaboration capabilities on any of your stories. In addition, a 1-month subscription to the CLOUD version will give you 10 credits for working with an AI assistant (120 credits for an annual subscription).
How do I work with co-authors if they have a different subscription?
CLOUD subscription holders can give access to their project to a co-author with any type of subscription (FREE, PRO or CLOUD). Your co-author's subscription type will determine the editing capabilities. If he/she has a FREE version, he/she will be able to work only with the script text itself and some other modules that are included in his/her subscription.
Only co-authors with PRO or CLOUD subscriptions can work with cards, image gallery or location/character maps; only co-authors with CLOUD subscriptions can work with the script breakdown. As for the modules available only in paid subscriptions, with the FREE version they can be viewed but not edited. Read more about co-authoring.
Do I have to pay for updates?
No, all updates are free. Your subscription only affects which features you have access to.
What are credits for the AI assistant?
To use STARC AI, you need to purchase credits – in-app coins that will be spent to generate content. 1 credit = 1000 words or 10 images processed by the AI.
How to buy credits for working with an AI Assistant?
To purchase credits, log in to your personal account and select the number of credits to purchase, after which you will be redirected to the payment page. Credits are also available when purchasing paid PRO and CLOUD subscriptions. More info.
