How to install Story Architect on Windows?

1. Open the folder with the downloaded installation file.
2. Right click on it.

4. Open the Permissions tab of the file properties window.
5. Select the "Allow file to run as a program" check box.

How to install Story Architect on Chrome OS?

You can install Story Architect on Chrome OS using a Linux container. So you'll need to download the Linux file and then follow the instructions.

1. Open your Chromebook settings and scroll to the end until you find the "Linux" menu item and turn it on.
2. Download the Story Architect installation file for Linux and move it to the "Linux Files" section. You can do this from the standard Chrome OS "Files" app.
3. Open the Chrome OS launcher bar, find and launch the "Terminal" app.
4. When the terminal opens, type the following text there: “sudo apt-get install nautilus” – and press Enter.
5. After that, open the Chrome OS launcher bar and find the Linux apps folder. It's usually on the first page.
6. Now open the "Linux files (Nautilus)" application and right click on the AppImage program. After that, click on "Properties".
7. Open the "Permissions" tab of the file properties window.
8. Check the "Allow the file to run as a program" box.
9. The program is now ready to run. Double-click the file to launch it.
