When writing a script, the main thing is to start it. In this article, we will tell you how to create a project and write the first lines of your future blockbuster.
If you don't already have the Story Architect app or downloaded it a second ago, read the instructions on how to install it, as well as how to log in to your personal account.
Creating projects is available both with and without authorization to the personal account. Let's consider the first option (if you don't want to create an account yet, just skip the first step; further on, the whole algorithm is the same). Open the Story Architect app and click on the burger button on the top left of the start page, then select the "Sign in" menu item.
Next, enter your email and the code that is sent to it.
We are back on the start page. To create a project, click on the "+ Create story" button on the left panel. Or click the button in the middle of the screen.
In the window that appears, choose the type of story from the drop-down list: Screenplay, Comic book, Audio drama, Stageplay, Novel. Next, give the project a name, then click "Create".
To set the file saving path, click on the settings icon at the bottom. Please note: in FREE and PRO versions it is possible to save the project only to the device. The CLOUD license allows you to save the project to cloud storage. In addition, you can also import an existing story here. For example, if you have been working in another program and now you want to continue in Story Architect.
After we have clicked "Create", the program takes us to a new project. All navigation is located in the left panel. Here we can change the title, set a description and generate a poster, or go directly to the Screenplay / Comic book / Audio drama / Stageplay / Novel or any part of it: i.e. the title page, synopsis, treatment or script text. It depends on where you are used to starting your work. The modules can vary according to the story type.
If you need an additional document, click "+ Add Document" at the bottom left, and choose the type.
The project is created, everything is ready to start working. The main thing is to start right away, without putting it off until better times.
